This is a very good option if you have to downsize and your possessions simply wont fit into your new living space. Put the items you can live without into storage instead of having them clutter up your living areas. We have clients that put their unnecessary furniture into storage when they are selling a home so that it looks more spacious and less cluttered. If your garage is so full that your car no longer can fit into it, you could put the excess into storage and give your car a garage in the winter.
